Charging stations for customers and electric shuttles introduce a significant new load into the building. If they all charge simultaneously without regulation, they create a peak. AI distributes the load, couples it with PV and electricity prices, and releases the grid connection — without the customer having to wait.
Would you like to see your hotel in an equally transparent way?
We digitally model the energy technology of your hotel in real-time — air conditioning, hot water, swimming pool, kitchen, laundry, peak loads. The first energy audit is free.
Why is charging infrastructure a risk for peak load?
Each charging point consumes between 11 and 150 kilowatts. If several charge simultaneously, the load quickly exceeds the building's residual consumption and generates the annual peak.
What does dynamic load management do?
It distributes the available connection power in real-time across active charging points, ensuring the limit is never exceeded — prioritised by departure time.
Can the load be coupled with PV?
Yes. The AI charges preferentially during a PV surplus and low electricity prices, so that a large portion of the charge comes from self-consumption.
